Volunteer Registration Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at SoCal Muse Con! Our event relies on dedicated volunteers to help create an amazing experience for attendees. Please review the following guidelines before submitting your application.
Volunteer Requirements
To be eligible to volunteer, you must:
Be at least 18 years old by the start of the convention.
Be available to work at least one full shift per day (shifts are typically 4-6 hours long).
Be professional, friendly, and willing to assist attendees, guests, and staff as needed.
Follow all convention policies and procedures.
Application & Selection Process
We have a limit of 50 volunteer spots, which will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
All interested applicants must complete the Volunteer Registration Form.
A valid government-issued ID is required for verification.
Selected volunteers will receive a confirmation email along with additional instructions.
If all spots are filled, additional applicants may be placed on a waitlist.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers may be assigned to various roles, including but not limited to:
Assisting with registration and attendee check-in.
Managing lines for panels and special events.
Helping with setup and teardown of event spaces.
Providing directions and answering attendee questions.
Supporting guest relations and assisting with autographs/photo ops.
Volunteer Perks
As a thank-you for your hard work, volunteers will receive:
A complimentary volunteer badge granting access to the convention floor.
Scheduled breaks and access to the volunteer lounge.
Exclusive volunteer swag (TBD).
An opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes experience at SoCal Muse Con.
Important Notes
Volunteers must arrive on time for their assigned shifts.
Failure to complete assigned duties or abide by convention policies may result in removal from the volunteer program.
Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.
Deadline & Confirmation
Volunteer applications must be submitted by 4/30/2025.
Approved volunteers will be notified by 5/10/2025 with further details.
